Artjunkie effectively intervened to stop the unauthorized sale of counterfeit Fang Drug T-shirts by two Chinese merchants. Utilizing eBay's formal reporting system,

Artjunkie efficiently requested the removal of these infringing items from the platform.

Despite following proper procedures, Artjunkie faced challenges as some eBay employees were uncooperative, causing delays in the removal process.

Recognizing the inadequate response to their initial complaints,

Artjunkie escalated the issue by filing legal proceedings in the High Court against both eBay and the involved merchants.

This strategic legal action prompted eBay to take more decisive measures, resulting in the removal of the counterfeit listings and the suspension of the offending sellers.

Following these developments, eBay issued a public apology, attributing the complications during the reporting process to the inexperience of newly trained staff members. This incident underscores the need for streamlined processes and rigorous training protocols to prevent similar issues with counterfeit merchandise in the future.
